Olympic Peninsula Volleyball Officials

The Olympic Peninsula Board of Officials for Volleyball is dedicated to enhancing the quality of officiating for volleyball programs across Kitsap, Jefferson and Clallam Counties in Northwest Washington.

To improve the standard of officiating, the board focuses on these objectives.

• Recruiting of volleyball officials.
• Providing a training program for all levels of volleyball officials.
• Promoting professional standards including knowledge of volleyball rules, interpretation, and mechanics.
• Promote the role of the official by encouraging fair play that focuses attention on the athlete’s skills.
• Promoting diversity in recruitment and development of officials.
• Promoting a standard of conduct as described by state sport leadership organizations. (i.e., WOA, WIAA)
